I bought this item in the year 2000 for about $1,200.00 U.S. from the company indicated at the back view of the item. One of the most important values of this collectible item aside from its rarerity (one of 5,000 pieces) and Numismatic value is that the Liberty coin inside this watch is 99.99% one-half (1/2) ounce gold.The mechanical thing inside is no longer working due maybe to battery power after about 10 years of running. Battery replacement might solve this problem.
